#CostruiamoIlNostroFuturo: Diadora Utility and Confartigianato: supporting workers together
The partnership between Diadora Utility and Confartigianato has paved the way for a campaign aimed at supporting workers: #CostruiamoIlNostroFuturo, meaning "Let's Build Our Future" in English, is a message of hope and a cue to start again in a period made difficult by the pandemic.
Between April and May 2020, 500 pairs of Diadora Utility safety shoes were delivered to companies in Bergamo involved in the construction of the Fiera hospital as both a clear gesture of solidarity and to reinforce the message of support to employees of small businesses.
The workers involved received the Glove Low, a functional and contemporary shoe and one of the Diadora Utility collection's staple pairs. Particularly well suited to those working in construction, logistics, installation and industrial sectors, the shoes delivered to the Bergamo-based companies were made and assembled in the company's Caerano San Marco (TV) factory located at the heart of Italy's shoemaking district.
The 250 companies, chosen with the help of Confartigianato, cover a wide range of areas, from construction and plumbing to joinery, electrics, furniture, tinsmithery and cleaning, among others. To round off the campaign, Diadora Utility produced a series of videos telling some of the stories of the companies encountered throughout the project. The documentary produced, consisting of small sections, can be seen on the brand's social media pages. This extraordinary experience of professional and, above all, human growth, was driven by courage, the will to start again and the desire to get involved
Supporting workers for more than 20 years, Diadora Utility has, now more than ever before, demonstrated its commitment to a better future, in the name of research, technological innovation and ever-safer solutions.
